Collage and Mixed Media
A workshop that will teach you innovative techniques.  

Students will be learning the basic collage skills and techniques with a wide variety of materials. Materials used will include mixed paper, fabric, magazines, photos, painted papers, found objects, etc. Students will be learning several techniques for preparing papers. You’ll have  completed collages by the days end.

Facilitated by Allyssa Green. No previous art or collage experience necessary!

Journal Making 101

Art Journaling 101 - Are you new to art journaling and wondering what it’s all about or where to begin? This class has got you covered! I've designed Art Journaling 101 to  introduce beginners to art journaling so you can find your way with more ease and less fear. Students will learn the basics such as choosing paper, supplies, beginner’s techniques, and more.


Creating a colorful and cute cloth doll for beginners. Student will make a 16" cloth doll.

This class will meet weekly, register for an individual class or monthly. Classes are hour and participants will create 3 cards during each session.  No experience necessary ~ everyone is welcome.

Creating Fast & Easy Knitted Hat Using a Loom

Learn to knit a hat using a loom, this technique is fast and easy. No experience necessary, this class is for everyone!

Quilt Block PIllow ~ Introduction to Quilting

In this class students will learn to make a Log Cabin Quilt block, we'll focus on  classic & simple quilting techniques,  The instructor  will walk you through the basics of choosing fabric, cutting strips, and pressing and piecing your strips. When your block is completed, you'll how to turn it into a beautiful pillow.

This class is designed for the first time sewing students, or as a refresher course for those that just need to get started again. We  start with simple, fun projects and basic garments. You will learn all the basic hand stitches and how to properly sew on a button. Students will learn to take measurements, identify different types of fabric, and how to construct a simple garment. You will also learn the parts of the machine, how to pin and cut, how to sew straight, turn corners, zig-zag and more.  You will use your new skills to make fun projects that you can easily duplicate at home with your new lifetime skill!                                 

*A limited number of sewing machines will be available for use during the class. ~ It is nice to have your own sewing machine, this is an opportunity to learn about your machine and to use your new skills at home . Machine must be full size. No toy sewing machines will be allowed.
